Inversionistas de impacto

En los últimos años, las startups con impacto han llamado la atención de inversionistas, aceleradoras y el ecosistema en general. Esto no es para nada sorpresa, dadas las condiciones globales: Pobreza, desigualdad, racismo, contaminación, cambio climático, etc… Por ello, apoyado de los objetivos de desarrollo sostenible de la ONU, ha nacido una camada de nuevas instituciones cuya tesis, dicta de manera explicita el apoyo a startups con impacto. 

Hoy en día resulta un poco complicado definir impacto y como medirlo, sin embargo, con este mapeo y los contenidos sugeridos al final, esperamos puedas empaparte más del tema.

1. Deetken Impact.  Deetken Impact, antes Adobe Capital. Deetken Impact specializes in impact investing – we make a positive social and environmental impact in the Americas.
2. IDB Lab. IDB Lab is the Venture Arm of the Inter-American Development Bank, the largest multilateral bank in Latin America and the Caribbean
3. Impacta VC. Impacta VC invests in impact startups in Latin America. Impacta VC launched a U$10MM Seed Fund in the US to fund tech companies aligned with the SDGs across LATAM that leverage the partner’s network of top regional founders and VCs to achieve future financing rounds in the impact space.
4. Amplifica Capital. Amplifica Capital invests in seed stage companies in LatAm to generate excellent returns, and to increase economic participation and opportunities for women.
5. IMPAQTO Capital. IMPAQTO Capital offers flexible capital to early-stage impact startups in the Andean Region, investing in Ecuador, Peru, Bolivia and Colombia with a focus on education, health, agroindustry and food supply chains, and clean tech.
6. Co_Capital. CO_Capital is a Latin American impact-first fund. En otras palabras, dejar el mundo un poco mejor de como lo encontramos. Ya sea a través de mejorar el medio ambiente o mejorar la vida de las personas.

Los criterios considerados para el presente mapeo fueron:

1. Tesis en Startuplinks. Partimos de la información compartida por la institución, a la hora de registrarse en Startuplinks.
2. Tesis en website. Nos aseguramos que en su website se mencionara explicitamente la palabra “Impacto” o similares.
3. Portafolio. Nos aseguramos que en su portafolio hubiera startups que cumplieran con el calificativo de impacto.
